• Communication and Outreach in Support of Participatory Constitution Building in Nepal

  Key Achievement:
  
  •    Establishment of Community Information Network (CIN)- the largest satellite network of radio for bridging news and information gap among the radio stations.
  •    Initiation of production and broadcasting of 30 minutes\' daily news bulletin “ Sajha Khabar”: 6 AM and 7:3- PM since 29 May 2009. The daily news bulletin is broadcasted from more than 120 radio stations. At least 4 times a week, news or report on Constitution Assembly is covered . Any CA related activities is immediately covered in the news bulletin as news or in the form of radio report.
  •    15  minutes\' exclusive radio programme on Constituent Assembly “ Sambidhan Sandarva” is  produced and broadcasted on a weekly basis from ACORAB/ CIN since August 2009. The program is broadcasted in 8 different ( Tamang, Maithali, Bhojpuri, Awadi, Doteli, Gurung, Magar and Tharu )languages from local community radio stations. The format and  CA related information ( 10 min) script is sent via email from ACORAB ,  the complete version of Sambihdan Sandarva is produced by local radio by inserting voice, report or any related on CA to make a complete package of 15 min.
