Newly elected Executive Committee of ACORAB formally took responsibility of the Committee after outgoing General Secretary Mohan Bista handed over Minute book to newly elected General Secretary Khem Bhandari at a Hand-over/ Take-over ceremony on 1 November 2009 in Lalitpur.

The Hand over/ Take over ceremony began after newly elected President Min Bahadur Shahi took oath of office from Chief Election Commissioner Shashi Poudel. Then after other Executive Committee officials took oath of office from the President. After the ceremony, outgoing General Secretary, founding president Raghu Mainali and newly elected president put their opinion.

Outgoing Vice- President Dilip Rai, General Secretary Mohan Bista and Executive Members Tara Khanal, Shambhu Karki and Deepak Acharya were also felicitated at the function for their contribution to ACORAB during their tenure in Executive Committe since 2006. Similarly, the President provided token of appreciation to Election Committee and sponsors of Annual General Assembly. The Hand over/Take ceremony was attended by key stakeholders of ACORAB, including donors.
